About the course

Overview

Learn to master a range of techniques for revealing, analysing and documenting business and system requirements.

You can attend this course from the comfort of your home while getting a similar experience as being in a classroom. You will be able to engage in knowledge sharing discussions and take part in small group exercises using Zoom break rooms technology.

You can take the exam remotely at the end of the course or at a convenient time. You achieve the BCS Requirements Engineering certificate as a recognition for your skills. The course price includes the exam cost.

Delivery

This is a virtual, interactive course with a live instructor and will run using Zoom technology.

Zoom allows us to make the virtual classrooms interactive by:

  • creating breakout rooms where you can interact in small groups in the same way as you do on a face to face course
  • using polls and quizzes to keep you engaged with the topic
  • allowing online chats for easy communication
  • getting access to recorded sessions – sessions will be recorded and available for 3 weeks after the course
  • using our online portal to practice with exam simulations

 

There are 2 virtual sessions each day of the course for 3-day courses:

  • Session 1:  9:30 – 12:30 (with 15 mins break)
  • Session 2:  13:30 – 16:30 (with 15 mins break)

There is 1 virtual session each day of the course for 5/6-day courses:

  • Session 1: 9:30 – 12:30 (with 15 mins break)

You will need a computer, a microphone and a camera for an engaging course interaction.

Exam

You can take the exam remotely from your home using an online proctor (invigilator) – we book a day with the exam provider and then you finalise the specific date and time with the remote proctor.

Exam format: One hour ‘closed book’, on-line, multiple-choice exam. The pass mark is 25/40.
