The BCS Foundation Certificate in Organisational Behaviour provides an entry level qualification for anyone wishing to gain an understanding of the complex factors which shape the way organisations operate. It includes the principles of organisational design and operating models, as well as group
and individual performance, culture and behaviour. The certificate will also enable candidates to understand key principles of finance at both business and project level.

This course can be attended in a classroom or remotely. If you would like to attend in the classroom, these are held at our London training venue near Old Street station. The Agile courses are 3 days on the weekend and 4 days during the week. The same material is covered in both courses but the weekend course is slightly more intense as it is 3 days instead of 4. The weekend course will begin at 9am and finish at 6.30pm and the midweek courses start at 9.30am and finish at 5pm.

There are no prerequisites for the Agile Business Analysis Foundation Course. However, the Agile Business Analysis Practitioner course requires you to have passed the Agile Foundation Exam.

No, none of our courses require you to have IT skills.
We recommend you do some pre-reading as this will help you to get the most out of the course. We will send you the required material (including a case study) one week before the course start.
We've moved all our training sessions online, so you can learn in the comfort of your own home. Don't worry, we work with virtual whiteboards and break out rooms to ensure it's an interactive learning experience - just as it would be if you were training in-house.

When you book onto a course we will send you a copy of our core textbook Business Analysis. One week before the start of the course we will email you the chapters to read and any extra reading material you need. You will receive additional material (including slides and exam preparation) during the course.
During the pandemic we are running the exams remotely at the comfort of your home. A member of the Metadata team will invigilate your exam where you can choose a convenient slot (exams are held during office hours).
Yes, both the Foundation and Practitioner exam is included in the course price. The Foundation Exam is a closed-book multiple choice exam with 50 questions per paper. The pass mark is 50% and the length of the exam is 40 minutes. The Practitioner Exam is an open-book, complex multiple choice exam. There are 4 questions per paper with a pass mark of 50%. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
An extra time of 15mins is given if English is not your first language or with reasonable adjustments. Please inform us upon making a booking.
All of the BCS business analysis exams are a closed book multiple choice question, duration 60-mins with the exception of the BCS Systems Development Essentials which is taken as an open book written exam with 15mins reading time and duration 60mins written exam time.
The APMG will send out the results roughly 7-10 days after your exam date. You will then receive your certification two week after the results have been released.
