BCS Requirements Engineering training course gives delegates a solid grounding in a range of techniques for revealing, analysing and documenting business and system requirements, in addition to gaining a BCS accreditation that is highly regarded by prestigious UK employers.
This course includes the BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering.
This course is one of the mandatory modules of the BCS Diploma in Business Analysis. It is also the first course that delegates attend after booking the BCS Business Analysis Diploma Bundle.
This course can be attended in a classroom or remotely. If you would like to attend in the classroom, these are held at our London training venue near Old Street station. You can also attend remotely from the comfort of your home while saving time and money on travelling. Once you have booked the course, you can choose how you would like to attend.

If you attend face-to-face in a classroom or remotely:
You can take the exam at the end of the course or at a convenient time.
If you attend remotely, you can take the exam from your home using an online proctor (invigilator) – we book a day with the exam provider and then you finalise the specific date and time with the remote proctor. The price includes the exam cost.
Exam format: One hour ‘closed book’ multiple-choice exam. The pass mark is 25/40.

No, none of our courses require you to have IT skills.
We recommend you do some pre-reading as this will help you to get the most out of the course. We will send you the required material (including a case study) one week before the course start.
When you book onto a course we will send you a copy of our core textbook Business Analysis. One week before the start of the course we will email you the chapters to read and any extra reading material you need. You will receive additional material (including slides and exam preparation) during the course.
Most of our delegates take the exam immediately after finishing the course (on the last day), but if you prefer you can take it at a later date. We run exams every other Wednesday evenings at 18:00 and some weekends (please contact us to check availability).
