Referral Programme – Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Metadata Ltd, 2-6 Cropley Street, London, United Kingdom, N1 7GF.  
  2. The referral programme will run until 31 Dec 2022 but may be withdrawn or amended at any time and without notice.
  3. You can refer as many people as you like – friend, colleague, family member or other members of the public, provided they are aged over 18.
  4. To be eligible for entry you must be 18 years or over and must have done a course with Metadata Training prior to referring us to a friend.
  5. To participate in the Refer us & Get Rewarded programme you must refer us to your friends and colleagues by forwarding the referral email to them and CC us in(Please note: We will not add your friend’s to any newsletter list without their permission).  The more friends you recommend the more money you earn. When your friend makes a qualifying course booking (see point 7 below) with us as a result of your recommendation then you can choose to receive a £50 cash reward OR 30% discount on an individual course. You will get rewarded for each separate referral. Please note that you only get rewarded for the first booking your friend or the person you referred makes and not for any of their subsequent bookings.
  6. Your 30% discount (if you choose this reward) can only be used to book the following full price virtual courses that costs over £700: any BCS business analysis course, APMG agile business analysis, Data Modelling & User Experience for Business Analysts. You cannot use the discount to book one-day courses.
  7. A course booking made by the friend is considered a qualifying course booking if it meets all these rules:
    • the friend has booked a course with Metadata Training as a result of being recommended to us by you 
    • the friend has successfully paid and attended the booked course.
    • the friend must not have booked a course with us before.
    • the friend must not have attended a course with us before.
    • the booking must not be paid by a company who paid for other bookings in the past.
    • the booking must not be made by a company who booked other delegates in the past.
    • if the booking is made or paid by a company then the company who is making the booking must not have booked with us before and must not have paid for a booking made by an individual delegate before.
    • comply with our Terms of Use.
  8. If you are referring to us more than one friend from the same company who end up booking with us and their company books or pays for all the friends then we will consider this one qualifying booking, provided the company hasn’t made any bookings before.
  9. Metadata Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify any entries which it deems, at its sole discretion, to contravene the spirit of the campaign and any money if awarded must be returned immediately.
  10. The £50 cash we owe you (if you choose this reward) for the qualified course booking will be sent to you by bank transfer and we would need your bank account. We aim to send the money within 30 days after the referred friend has attended the course. The money will only be awarded after the referred friend attends the course they booked as a result of your referral and if the booking is considered a qualifying course booking.
  11. The Metadata Ltd. cannot accept responsibility for entries lost or delayed in transmission. Under no circumstances will Metadata Ltd. be liable (unless such liability cannot be lawfully excluded) for any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the Referral programme.
  12. By using the referral programme you are acknowledging and accepting these terms and conditions in their entirety. We will not pass, sell or trade your details with 3rd parties, and you may unsubscribe from any email communication by using the supplied email link.   13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
