Meet Miranda Apps

Miranda is a IT business systems manager currently working in the rail industry.  She manages the production side of the business; reviewing the systems and processes, implementing new ones and ensures strategic and technical alignment. She has been working in her role for more than 5 years.

Miranda was interested in upskilling and looking to explore the business analyst role. She came across the government-funded Business Analyst apprenticeship and put herself forward for the programme with the help of her colleague and manager. Miranda talks about the crucial need for business analysis in change projects and how the apprenticeship has allowed her to gain confidence and clarity for someone switching into a business analyst role.
